Who we are
The Equipping House exists to provide a place where individuals can find hope, healing, and practical guidance for life’s challenges through Christ-centered care and support.
We believe that every person carries inherent value and purpose, yet many people find themselves navigating seasons of hardship, brokenness, addiction, relational conflict, or spiritual uncertainty. In those moments, people often need more than advice—they need compassionate support, biblical truth, and practical tools to help them move forward.
The Equipping House was created to be that place.
Our desire is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can receive encouragement, gain clarity, and begin the process of restoration. By integrating biblical principles with practical life guidance, we help people develop healthier perspectives, stronger relationships, and a deeper understanding of their identity and purpose.
At its core, The Equipping House is about equipping people—not only to experience personal healing, but to grow in wisdom, maturity, and leadership so they can positively impact their families, communities, and churches.
We believe that lasting transformation happens when truth, compassion, and practical support come together. Through counseling support, recovery encouragement, training, and discipleship, our goal is to help individuals move from struggle to stability, from confusion to clarity, and from brokenness to renewed purpose.
Our Commitment
At The Equipping House, we are committed to providing a place that is:
Compassionate – where people are treated with dignity and respect
Christ-centered – grounded in biblical truth and spiritual care
Practical – offering tools and guidance that can be applied to real life
Confidential – creating a safe environment for honest conversations
Transformational – focused on lasting personal and spiritual growth
We believe that healing and growth are possible for every individual, and that with the right support, people can rebuild their lives, strengthen their relationships, and move forward with renewed hope.
Our Approach
The Equipping House takes a Christ-centered approach to personal growth and restoration. Our work is rooted in the belief that spiritual health, emotional well-being, and practical life skills are deeply connected.
Rather than offering quick solutions, we focus on helping individuals develop lasting foundations through biblical guidance, personal reflection, accountability, and practical tools for everyday life.
Our goal is not simply to address immediate problems, but to help individuals build the strength, wisdom, and resilience necessary to move forward with confidence and purpose.
Why The Equipping House Exists
The vision for The Equipping House was born out of a clear calling to serve individuals who are seeking healing, guidance, and restoration through Christ-centered support.
On October 27, 2023, God placed a clear calling on Paul Becker’s heart to serve as a Christian counselor. Within one week of that moment, he was enrolled in his first Christian counseling certification program, beginning a focused journey of training, preparation, and ministry service.
Since that time, Paul has served as a Christian counselor within a local church, providing faith-based guidance and support to individuals navigating life challenges, relational struggles, addiction recovery, and spiritual growth.
Before stepping into this calling, Paul spent more than twenty years working in the field of human resources. During that time he developed extensive experience in leadership, conflict resolution, mentoring, and helping individuals navigate complex personal and professional challenges. While that career provided valuable experience, it ultimately became clear that God was redirecting his path toward a ministry focused on restoration and equipping others.
On December 1, 2025, The Equipping House was created as a response to that calling.
This ministry exists to provide a place where individuals can encounter biblical truth, compassionate guidance, and practical tools that help them move from struggle toward stability and renewed purpose. Rather than simply addressing surface-level issues, The Equipping House focuses on helping individuals rebuild the foundations of their lives, spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
The goal is not only to help people experience healing, but also to equip them with the wisdom, discipline, and spiritual maturity needed to build healthier lives, stronger relationships, and a deeper walk with Christ.
Paul Becker currently holds the following credentials and ministry training:
Board Certified Christian Counselor – National Association of Christian Counselors (NACC)
Board Certified Master Mental Health Coach – International Board of Christian Care (IBCC) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC)
Certified Addiction & Recovery Coach – International Board of Christian Care (IBCC) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC)
Certified Military and First Responder Mental Health Coach – International Board of Christian Care (IBCC) (in progress)
Ordained Chaplain – Christian Leaders Institute (Fire/EMS Chaplain designation)
These credentials support the mission of providing biblically grounded guidance while maintaining a strong commitment to compassion, integrity, and practical life application.
At its heart, The Equipping House exists because of a simple belief: when individuals are supported with truth, compassion, and practical tools for growth, lasting transformation becomes possible.
Our hope is that every person who comes to The Equipping House will find encouragement, clarity, and the strength to move forward with renewed faith, restored purpose, and a greater ability to impact their families, churches, and communities.
